Spooky Gnocchi

A fun, delicious twist on a classic dish, featuring vibrant purple potatoes for a spooky Halloween treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ lbs Purple Potatoes
  • 2 tsp Flax Seed Powder
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • ¾ to 1 ½ Cups Flour

Instructions

  1. Cook the potatoes by washing them and boiling until tender.
  2. Mash the cooked potatoes until smooth.
  3. Make the dough by combining mashed potatoes, flax seed powder (mixed with water), and olive oil, then gradually add flour.
  4. Shape the gnocchi by rolling the dough into ropes and cutting into pieces.
  5. Cook the gnocchi in salted boiling water until they float.
  6. Sauté the gnocchi in olive oil until golden and crispy.

Notes

For extra spooky presentation, use a fork to create ridges on the gnocchi. Serve with olive oil or your choice of sauce.
