  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix the pumpkin puree, sugar, milk, and melted butter in a large mixing bowl until smooth and creamy.
  3. Incorporate the flour, baking powder, and pumpkin pie spice into the wet mixture and fold gently.
  4. Add the vanilla extract and taste to adjust sweetness if necessary.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased 9×13 baking dish, drizzle caramel sauce on top, and swirl lightly.
  6. Bake for about 35-40 minutes until edges are golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool for 10-15 minutes, then serve with extra caramel and whipped cream or ice cream.
