Homemade Peach Lemonade

A refreshing and sweet blend of fresh peach and lemon juice perfect for summer.

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe peaches, pitted and sliced
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 4 cups water
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh peach slices for garnish (optional)
  • Lemon slices for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Start with the peaches. Rinse your ripe peaches under cool water. Pit and slice them into manageable pieces.
  2. Blend it up! Toss your peach slices into the blender with 1 cup of water. Blend on high until smooth, about 30 seconds.
  3. Squeeze those lemons. Freshly squeeze your lemons until you have 1 cup of juice.
  4. Strain if desired. Pour your peach puree through a fine-mesh sieve into a pitcher to remove pulp.
  5. Combine flavors. Mix the strained peach puree, fresh lemon juice, and remaining water. Stir in sugar gradually to taste.
  6. Chill, then serve. Refrigerate for at least an hour; serve over ice and garnish with peach and lemon slices.

Notes

Consider adding fresh mint leaves for a pop of flavor and color. This lemonade can also be made in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
