Pumpkin Brown Butter Dump Cake

A delightful twist on the classic dump cake featuring rich pumpkin puree, nutty brown butter, and warm spices, perfect for cozy fall evenings.

  • 1/2 cup Brown Butter
  • 1 box Spice Cake Mix
  • 1 cup Pecans, chopped
  • 1/4 cup Butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Brown your butter in a small saucepan over medium heat, swirling occasionally for about 5-7 minutes until it turns golden brown.
  3. Prepare a large mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin puree and 1 cup of cooled brown butter, stirring to combine.
  4. Layer the pumpkin mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish and sprinkle the spice cake mix on top without stirring.
  5. Add the chopped pecans over the cake mix.
  6. Pour the remaining melted butter over everything.
  7. Bake for about 40-45 minutes or until bubbly around the edges and the top is golden.
  8. Cool for 10 minutes before serving.
