Peach Strawberry Cobbler Bake

A delightful hybrid of sweet peaches and strawberries topped with a buttery, crumbly cobbler, perfect for summer gatherings.

  • 4 cups fresh peaches, sliced
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (for topping)
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the sliced peaches and strawberries in a large bowl. Add 1 cup of granulated sugar, 1/4 cup of flour, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and gently toss.
  3. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or non-stick spray. Pour the fruit mixture into the dish, spreading it evenly.
  4. Whisk together 1 cup of milk, 1/2 cup of melted butter, 1 cup of flour, 2 teaspoons of baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and the remaining 1/4 cup of sugar in another bowl.
  5. Pour the batter over the fruit mixture, ensuring it doesn’t need to cover the fruit completely.
  6. Bake for 45–55 minutes, until the top is golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let the cobbler cool for about 15 minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for a delightful treat.
