Maple Glazed Meatloaf

A delightful blend of savory ground beef and sweet maple syrup, this maple glazed meatloaf is comfort food at its finest.

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1/3 cup Maple Syrup
  • 1/2 cup Ketchup
  • 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 small Onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • Optional herbs (like parsley or thyme)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prep your loaf pan with non-stick spray or parchment paper.
  3. Mix the ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, garlic, egg, ketchup, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl.
  4. Add the maple syrup and gently fold it into the mixture.
  5. Shape the mixture into a loaf form in the prepared pan.
  6. Glaze by mixing additional maple syrup and ketchup; brush generously over the meatloaf.
  7. Bake for about 1 hour or until reaching an internal temperature of 160°F (70°C).
  8. Rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
