Brownie Chocolate Swirl Ice Cream

A creamy, rich ice cream featuring gooey brownie bits and decadent hot fudge, perfect for cooling off on hot summer days.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup brownie pieces
  • 1/2 cup hot fudge sauce
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chunks

Instructions

  1. Mix the base: In a large mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, and vanilla extract. Use a whisk to blend until the sugar is dissolved. Don’t over-whisk!
  2. Chill the mixture: Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and place it in the fridge to chill for at least 120 minutes or ideally overnight.
  3. Churn the ice cream: Once chilled, pour the mixture into your ice cream maker and churn until thickened (about 20-25 minutes).
  4. Add brownies and hot fudge: When the ice cream is almost ready, gently swirl in the brownie pieces, chocolate chunks, and hot fudge sauce.
  5. Freeze to set: Transfer to an airtight container and freeze for at least 240 minutes until firm.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute one cup of heavy cream with half-and-half.
