  • Food coloring (optional)

Instructions

  1. Gather your tools: Grab a large mixing bowl, a spatula or spoon, and a serving dish or individual cups.
  2. Start with the gelatin: In a separate bowl, dissolve the flavored gelatin in hot water. Let it cool slightly.
  3. Mix the creamy base: Combine the whipped cream (or Cool Whip) with mini marshmallows gently.
  4. Add in the rest: Fold in the diced fruit, the dissolved gelatin, and cottage cheese if using.
  5. Incorporate the nuts: Fold in the nuts for added crunch.
  6. Add some color: Stir in a few drops of your chosen food coloring.
  7. Chill and set: Transfer into your serving dish and refrigerate for 2-4 hours.
