Raspberry Buttercream Frosting

A delightful raspberry buttercream frosting that adds a burst of flavor and beautiful color to any cake or dessert.

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup raspberry puree (fresh or frozen)
  • 12 tablespoons heavy cream or milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Cream the butter in a large mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
  2. Add the powdered sugar gradually, mixing on low speed until incorporated.
  3. Incorporate the raspberry puree while mixing on low speed, adjusting consistency with heavy cream or milk as needed.
  4. Mix in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt until well combined.
  5. Final whip on high speed for 1-2 minutes to incorporate air and fluffiness.

Notes

This frosting can be stored in the fridge for up to a week. Ensure it comes to room temperature before using.
