  • 15 ounces ricotta cheese
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 teaspoons dried parsley
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground pepper
  • 12 lasagna noodles
  • ¼ cup water

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) and let it warm up while we prepare the ingredients.
  2. Cook the Meats: In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef and Italian sausage together. Use a wooden spoon to crumble the meat as it cooks, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.

  6. Layering Time: In a 9×13 inch baking dish, ladle a layer of meat sauce, then place three lasagna noodles, half of the cheese mixture, and repeat until all ingredients are used. Top with meat sauce.
  7. Final Touches: Pour water around the edges of the lasagna.
  8. Cover and Bake: Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes.
