Sweet Basil Vinaigrette

A delicious and easy homemade Sweet Basil Vinaigrette that elevates any salad with flavor and freshness.

  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 2/3 cup avocado oil or olive oil
  • 1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic (crushed)
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground pepper

Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Basil: Wash fresh basil leaves thoroughly under cold water and pat dry.
  2. Blend It Up: In a blender, add the basil leaves, crushed garlic, and honey. Pulse to break it down.
  3. Add the Liquids: Pour in the apple cider vinegar and oil. Blend until smooth.
  4. Season It: Add sea salt and ground pepper, blending again to taste.
  5. Store It Right: Transfer to a glass jar. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  6. Shake It Up! Shake well before using on salads or as a marinade.

Notes

This vinaigrette can be stored in the refrigerator for up to one week. Shake before use as it may separate.
