Lemon Pizza

A refreshing twist on classic pizza featuring zesty lemon juice, fragrant lemon zest, and fresh herbs atop a crispy crust.

Ingredients

  • 1 Pizza Dough
  • 1/2 cup Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 2 tbsp Lemon Zest
  • 2 cups Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Herbs (Basil, Parsley, or Oregano)
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
  2. Prepare the dough by allowing it to rest for 20 minutes if store-bought or roll it into your desired shape.
  3. Par-bake the crust for 5-7 minutes until it starts to set.
  4. Add lemon juice and zest to the crust.
  5. Layer the mozzarella cheese evenly over the crust.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Finish with fresh herbs on top.
  8. Drizzle with olive oil.
  9. Bake for another 8-10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and edges are golden.
  10. Slice and serve, optionally garnishing with reserved herbs.

Notes

Serve with a side of mixed greens or as part of a pizza party.
