Graveyard Taco Dip

A spooky and delicious taco dip, perfect for Halloween gatherings, with layers of creamy goodness, savory taco meat, and vibrant veggies.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese
  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • 1 packet Taco Seasoning
  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 2 cups Lettuce, shredded
  • 1 cup Tomatoes, diced
  • 1 can Black Olives, sliced
  • Tortilla Chips or Vegetable Sticks for serving

Instructions

  1. Prepare the taco meat: In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef, breaking it into small pieces as it cooks. Drain excess fat. Stir in the taco seasoning with water as per packet instructions and simmer until well combined.
  2. Make the creamy base: In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese and sour cream. Blend until smooth and creamy. Adjust seasoning as needed.
  3. Layer the dip: Spread the creamy mixture on the bottom of a large serving dish. Add the seasoned taco meat on top, pressing gently.
  4. Add the veggies: Sprinkle shredded lettuce, followed by diced tomatoes and sliced black olives over the meat layer.
  5. Finish by decorating the dip with tortilla chips around the edge to mimic a graveyard, adding mini grave markers if desired. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a spicier version, add diced jalapeños to the meat. For a vegetarian option, substitute ground beef with black beans and corn.
