Deliciously rich and fudgy brownies adorned with spooky white icing webs, perfect for Halloween gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup white icing (store-bought or homemade)
  • Black decorative chocolate or candy eyeballs

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat until completely liquid.
  3. Mix in the sugar until dissolved, then beat in the eggs one at a time.
  4. Add the vanilla extract and stir to combine.
  5. Incorporate the flour and cocoa powder gradually while folding gently with a spatula.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
  7. Cool the brownies for 10-15 minutes in the pan, then remove and cool completely on a wire rack.
  8. Spread the white icing generously over the cooled brownies.
  9. Create the spider web design by piping circles in a spiral onto the icing, then dragging outward with a toothpick.
  10. Finish by decorating with black chocolate or candy eyeballs.

Notes
