Flavored Dill Pickle Chicken Salad

A tangy and creamy chicken salad featuring shredded chicken, dill pickles, and a hint of Dijon mustard, perfect for summer picnics and quick lunches.

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup dill pickles, diced
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon dill weed
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare your chicken by shredding rotisserie chicken or boiling chicken breasts until fully cooked, about 15-20 minutes. Shred once cool.
  2. Chop the pickles and onions into small pieces for balanced flavor.
  3. Mix the chicken, pickles, onion, and dill weed in a bowl. In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise and Dijon mustard until smooth.
  4. Combine the mayonnaise mixture with the chicken-pickle blend and gently stir. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Chill the salad for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

This salad can be made in advance and actually tastes better the next day.
