Easy Strawberry Salad with Vinaigrette Dressing

A refreshing and vibrant salad featuring juicy strawberries, mixed greens, and a tangy vinaigrette, perfect for sunny days or gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Fresh Strawberries, halved or quartered
  • 4 cups Mixed Greens (spinach, arugula, or kale)
  • 1/2 cup Feta Cheese (optional)
  • 1/4 cup Sliced Almonds or Walnuts
  • 3 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 2 tablespoons Balsamic Vinegar or Lemon Juice
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Wash the greens thoroughly under cold water.
  2. Prepare the strawberries by cutting off the leafy tops and slicing them.
  3. Toast the nuts in a hot, dry pan for 5-7 minutes until golden.
  4. Make the dressing by whisking together olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper.
  5. Toss the mixed greens, strawberries, and nuts in a large bowl with the dressing.
  6. Add the feta cheese on top if using.
  7. Plate the salad family-style or in individual servings.

Notes

Keep the dressing separate until ready to serve to maintain crispness of greens. You can prep ingredients ahead of time and store separately.
