Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare your pears by peeling and slicing them to about 1/4 inch thick.
  3. Mix the sliced pears, granulated sugar, and cinnamon in a large bowl.
  4. Spread the pear mixture evenly into a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  5. Layer the yellow cake mix evenly over the pears without mixing.
  6. Add the melted butter over the cake mix, ensuring even coverage.
  7. Pour the optional milk around the edges of the baking dish.
