Cucumber Lemonade

A refreshing and revitalizing drink made with cucumber juice, fresh lemon juice, and raw honey, perfect for hot days.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cucumber juice
  • 1 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 cup raw honey
  • 6 cups water

Instructions

  1. Juicing the cucumbers: Start by juicing your cucumbers. If you have a juicer, chop them up and let it work its magic. If using a blender, combine peeled cucumbers with a little water, blend until smooth, and strain through a fine mesh sieve. Save the pulp for salads or smoothies!
  2. Juicing the lemons: Roll your lemons on the counter for a few seconds; this helps release their juices. Cut them in half and squeeze them using a handheld juicer or your hands, aiming for a cup of fresh lemon juice!
  3. Combining the juices: In a large pitcher, combine the cucumber juice and fresh lemon juice. Stir until well blended.
  4. Sweetening the mix: Add in the raw honey, mixing with a small amount of warm water to dissolve before adding to the pitcher. Stir well until fully incorporated.
  5. Adding water: Pour in the remaining 5 cups of cold water. Adjust the sweetness if needed.
  6. Chill or serve immediately: For the best flavor, let your Cucumber Lemonade chill in the fridge for at least an hour. Serve over ice and garnish with cucumber slices and lemon wedges.

Notes

For variations, try adding mint leaves for freshness, a jalapeño for spice, or blended berries for a fruity kick.
