Sweet and Tangy Honey Balsamic Brussels Sprouts

A scrumptious side dish featuring Brussels sprouts with a sweet and tangy honey balsamic glaze.

  • 1 tbsp avocado oil
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • ½ tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 4 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, grated

Instructions

  1. Prep Your Brussels Sprouts: Remove the stems and any outer leaves that seem wilted.
  2. Roast Your Sprouts: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and toss Brussels sprouts with avocado oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Set the Timer: Bake for about 20 minutes, stirring halfway through.
  4. Make the Balsamic Glaze: In a saucepan, combine olive oil, honey, balsamic vinegar, and grated garlic over medium heat.
  5. Glaze and Finish Roasting: Drizzle the balsamic glaze over the sprouts and return to the oven for another 5 minutes.
  6. Final Touch and Serve: Remove from the oven and serve immediately.

Notes

For a beautiful presentation, drizzle extra balsamic reduction and sprinkle with toasted nuts or seeds. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
