Transform ordinary apples into sweet, crispy cinnamon apple rings using an air fryer for a delightful snack any time.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large apples (such as Granny Smith, Honeycrisp, or Fuji)
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon butter (melted)
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Prep your apples: Wash thoroughly, core, and slice into rings about ¼-inch thick.
  2. Make the cinnamon sugar mixture: In a bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon, stirring until blended.
  3. Coat those rings: Drizzle melted butter over apple rings, toss until coated, then sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture over them and toss again.
  4. Preheat your air fryer: Set to 375°F (190°C) and line the basket with cooking spray.
  5. Air fry the rings: Arrange in a single layer in the basket. Air fry for 10-12 minutes or until golden-brown, flipping halfway through.
  6. Serve the apple rings warm, optionally drizzled with honey or sprinkled with extra cinnamon.

Notes

For a twist, add nuts, cayenne pepper, caramel, or chocolate drizzle for creative variations.
