Ingredients
Scale
8 oz linguine pasta
1 lb ground beef
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup butter
Salt and pepper to taste
Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the linguine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve about a cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef, breaking it up with a wooden spoon. Season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
Add the butter in the same skillet and let it melt. Toss in the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Pour in the heavy cream, stirring well. Bring to a simmer for about 2-3 minutes, then gradually mix in the Parmesan cheese until melted.
Add the cooked ground beef and drained linguine to the skillet. Toss to coat the pasta in the sauce, adding reserved pasta water as necessary.
Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper. Remove from heat and sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
Best served hot. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge and make a great lunch.
