  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups apples, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare a 9×13-inch baking dish and line it with parchment paper.
  3. Make the crust by mixing graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until they resemble wet sand.
  4. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  5. Bake the crust for about 10 minutes until it’s lightly golden.
  6. Beat the softened cream cheese with sugar until smooth.
  7. Incorporate the vanilla extract and then add the eggs one at a time.
  8. Fold in the diced apples and cinnamon gently.
  9. Spread the creamy mixture over the warm crust.
  10. Drizzle caramel sauce over the cheesecake filling.
  11. Bake again for 35-40 minutes until the edges are set.
  12. Cool at room temperature for about an hour, then chill for at least 4 hours.
  13. Slice into squares and serve with extra caramel.

Notes

Serve with a dollop of whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Additional toppings can include slices of fresh apple or a drizzle of caramel.
