  • 2 ounces grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 8 ounces Greek yogurt cheese (or regular cream cheese)
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream

Instructions

  1. Prep the ingredients by gathering everything on the counter and washing the basil leaves.
  2. Blend the fresh basil, grated Parmesan, and garlic in a food processor until finely chopped.
  3. Add the Greek yogurt cheese and sour cream to the mixture, then drizzle in olive oil and pulse until smooth.
  4. Season the dip with salt and black pepper, blending quickly, and adjust as necessary.
  5. Chill the dip in the fridge for at least an hour to let flavors meld.
  6. Serve in a bowl, drizzled with olive oil and garnished with basil or Parmesan.

Notes

For a spicy kick, add red pepper flakes. This dip can be stored in the fridge for 3 to 5 days.
