Cinnamon Roll Banana Bread

A delightful twist on classic banana bread infused with cinnamon and sugar swirl.

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan with butter or non-stick spray.
  3. Mash your ripe bananas with a fork or a potato masher until smooth.
  4. Add the melted butter to the mashed bananas and combine.
  5. Stir in the beaten egg, vanilla extract, and sugar.
  6. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt in a separate bowl.
  7. Fold the dry ingredients into the banana mixture until just combined.
  8. Combine brown sugar and an extra sprinkle of cinnamon in a small bowl.
  9. Pour half of the banana bread batter into the greased loaf pan, sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture on top, then repeat.
  10. Bake for 50–60 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  11. Cool in the pan for about 10-15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
