Chicken Cordon Bleu Casserole

An effortless twist on a comforting classic, this Chicken Cordon Bleu Casserole combines tender chicken, salty ham, and creamy Swiss cheese for a nostalgic family favorite.

  • 3 cups Chicken Breast, cubed
  • 2 cups Deli Ham, sliced
  • 2 cups Swiss Cheese, shredded
  • 1 can Cream of Chicken Soup
  • 1 cup Chicken Broth
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the cubed chicken in a large skillet over medium heat until no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Combine the cooked chicken, ham, and half of the shredded Swiss cheese in a mixing bowl.
  4. Mix together the creamy sauce (cream of chicken soup and chicken broth) in another bowl. Pour this over the chicken mixture and stir until well-coated.
  5. Transfer the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch casserole dish.
  6. Top with the remaining Swiss cheese.
  7. Sprinkle a generous layer of breadcrumbs on top.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the top is golden brown.
  9. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes before serving.

Notes

You can prep this casserole in advance and refrigerate it overnight. Allow for extra baking time if it’s cold from the fridge.
