Cauldron Cookies

Whimsical chocolate cookies topped with vibrant green buttercream, perfect for Halloween or any festive occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • Green buttercream frosting
  • Chocolate chips (optional for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix the chocolate cake mix, vegetable oil, and eggs in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
  3. Scoop rounded balls of dough onto a lined baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  4. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set and centers remain gooey.
  5. Cool the cookies on the sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  6. Frost using green buttercream frosting with a piping bag or spatula.
  7. Add chocolate chips on top of the frosted cookies for decoration, if desired.

Notes

Cookies can be made with different cake mixes. Store in an airtight container for up to five days, or freeze for three months.
