Caprese Salad

A vibrant and fresh Caprese Salad featuring ripe tomatoes, creamy mozzarella, and fragrant basil, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • Fresh Mozzarella Cheese
  • Tomatoes
  • Fresh Basil Leaves
  • Olive Oil
  • Balsamic Vinegar
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. Prep your ingredients by washing the tomatoes and basil leaves, patting them dry, and slicing the mozzarella.
  2. Slice the tomatoes into rounds about a half-inch thick and lay them on a serving platter.
  3. Layer the mozzarella slices directly on top of the tomatoes, alternating as you go.
  4. Add whole basil leaves in between the layers for added flavor.
  5. Drizzle olive oil and balsamic vinegar over the salad.
  6. Season with a pinch of salt and freshly cracked pepper.
  7. Serve immediately to enjoy the fresh flavors.

Notes

Serve on a large round platter and feel free to get creative with additional ingredients like avocado or pesto.
