The Ultimate Guacamole

Fresh, flavorful guacamole that’s perfect for parties or as a meal enhancer.

  • 3 ripe avocados
  • 1 lime (juiced)
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 cup diced onions
  • 2 roma tomatoes (diced)
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • 1 jalapeño (diced, optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the avocados: Start by cutting the avocados in half and removing the pit. Scoop out the green goodness into a mixing bowl and mash.
  2. Add lime juice and salt: Squeeze lime over the mashed avocado and mix in kosher salt.
  3. Incorporate the onions and garlic: Stir in the diced onions and minced garlic.
  4. Tomatoes and cilantro time: Gently fold in the diced tomatoes and cilantro.
  5. Spice it up: If using jalapeño, add it now and mix well.
  6. Taste test: Grab a chip and taste the guacamole. Adjust lime and salt as needed.
  7. Chill and serve: Let it chill in the fridge for about 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers with plastic wrap pressed against the surface to prevent browning.
