  • Fresh Peaches (about 6-8 medium)
  • Granulated Sugar (1 cup)
  • All-Purpose Flour (1 cup)
  • Baking Powder (1 tablespoon)
  • Salt (1/4 teaspoon)

  • Milk (1 cup)
  • Cinnamon (1 teaspoon)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the peaches by washing, peeling, and slicing them. Combine with ½ cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon, and let sit for 15-20 minutes.
  3. Make the batter by mixing 1 cup flour, 1 tablespoon baking powder, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and the remaining ½ cup sugar. Stir in 1 cup of milk and 1/2 cup melted butter until just combined.
  4. Assemble the cobbler by greasing a 9×13 inch baking dish. Pour in the batter, then spoon the peach mixture on top.
