Pumpkin Pineapple Dump Cake

An easy and delicious dessert featuring pumpkin and crushed pineapple topped with a buttery cake layer.

  • 1 1/2 cups pumpkin puree
  • 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, in juice
  • 1 box (15.25 oz) yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup chopped macadamia nuts (or pecans/walnuts)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare a 9×13 inch baking dish by greasing it.
  3. Mix the pumpkin puree and crushed pineapple in a medium bowl.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle the yellow cake mix over the pumpkin-pineapple layer.
  6. Add the chopped macadamia nuts on top of the cake mix.
  7. Drizzle the melted butter over the entire mixture.
  8. Bake for 35-40 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Cool for a few minutes, then serve warm with ice cream.

Notes

For added flavor, consider stirring in vanilla extract to the pumpkin-pineapple mixture.
