Peanut Butter Spider Cookies

Deliciously spooky peanut butter cookies topped with Reese’s and candy eyes, perfect for Halloween!

  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups (for topping)
  • Melted chocolate (for drizzling)
  • Candy eyes

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix the peanut butter and sugar in a large mixing bowl until creamy.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
  4. Incorporate the baking soda into the mixture.
  5. Scoop rounded balls of dough onto a lined baking sheet, leaving space between them.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden brown.
  7. Add a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup to each cookie immediately after baking.
  8. Melt the chocolate in the microwave until smooth.
  9. Drizzle the melted chocolate over cookies and top with candy eyes.
  10. Cool the cookies completely on a wire rack before serving.

Notes

For nut-free options, substitute peanut butter with sunflower seed butter. Experiment with mix-ins for added texture and flavors!
