Banana Pudding Brownies

A delightful dessert that combines fudgy brownies with creamy banana pudding for a nostalgic twist.

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 ripe banana, mashed
  • 1 cup banana pudding mix
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Mix the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl.
  3. Combine the melted butter and sugar in a large bowl until creamy, then add the eggs one at a time.
  4. Add the vanilla extract and mashed banana, mixing until fully combined.
  5. Blend in the dry ingredient mixture until just combined.
  6. Stir in the banana pudding mix until well incorporated.
  7. Add in the chocolate chips with a spatula.
  8. Pour the batter into your prepared baking pan and smooth it out.
  9. Bake for about 25-30 minutes, until the edges are set and a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  10. Cool the brownies in the pan for 10-15 minutes, then allow to cool completely before slicing.

Notes

Serve topped with whipped cream and crushed Nilla wafers for added flair.
