Patriotic Poke Cake

A festive and delicious poke cake bursting with strawberries and blueberries, perfect for holiday celebrations.

  • 1 box of vanilla cake mix
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping
  • Red, white, and blue decorating candies (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Mix the vanilla cake mix with the required eggs, oil, and water as per the box instructions.
  3. Bake the cake for about 25-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  4. Create holes all over the cake with a fork or wooden spoon handle.
  5. Pour sweetened condensed milk over the poked cake.
  6. Cool the cake completely before topping.
  7. Spread whipped topping over the cooled cake, followed by the sliced strawberries and blueberries.
  8. Add red, white, and blue decorating candies if desired.
  9. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

This cake can be made a day in advance and stored in the fridge. It can also be frozen before adding toppings for up to 2 months.
